Practical classes are held essentially at sea in the form of weekly training, the content of which corresponds to a trained stage. Courses are led by an authorized instructor on RYA trained appropriately marine recreational craft with a length of 7–15 meters.

Courses are held in Croatia in marina Kastela near Split, and also in Greece, Kalamaki marina in Athens. Certified training ship for us in Croatia provides partner company First Sailing, our partner for Greece is travel agency Altumare.
Number of participants at one captain course shall not exceed 5 persons per instructor. Yachtmaster course lasts 5 days. Rate Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper takes 6 days. During this time, the ship must uplout least 100 Nm. The course includes a night cruise. Every day sails at least one new port or anchorage. During the course, emphasis is placed on practicing various maneuvers on the motor and sailing and the use of knowledge of navigation and theory in specific practical situations.
Each course participant will receive quality teaching materials RYA an appropriate range, which also includes protocols curriculum of courses. Course participants will lead yachting book (logbook) of the basic data navigation.
The instructor gradually filled with the participants the various tasks required the syllabus of the practical course and regularly report on their success to make it clear that the curriculum can handle and which are contrary shortcomings.
The instructor records the fulfillment of each task to the relevant protocol sailing schedule. Methodology, quality of teaching and the practical part of the RYA standards, teaching and learning materials are partly in English!
Before you decide on what course you sign up, consider well what your current knowledge and experience! Before the practical course, you should have sufficient theoretical knowledge to a specific level. On the teaching of the theory is not enough time at sea. Note that the completion of the course Yachtmaster do not automatically qualify for a license. License get to pass an exam at the British Independent examiner. Candidates for the license Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper sit the exam, their ability to continuously evaluate the instructor during the course.
